Century Link’s Teachers and Technology program is Helping Children Learn!

Sharing is caring!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of CenturyLink. The opinions and text are all mine.

Technology plays such a vital role in the education of our youth and it’s something I enjoy learning about as well. I remember the days of doing a project for school and the only tools available to me were local libraries. Now we can utilize libraries but we also have the internet at the tips of our fingers.

Does your little one have a science project for school? Thanks to technology you can sit in the comfort of your own home and research that project with your child. You can also order all the supplies you’ll need with a few clicks. I often tell my kids how lucky they are to have such awesome learning tools available to them. I couldn’t have imagined all the things they have now when I was a kid.

In this day in age, we all know how vital education and technology are in our personal lives and to our families. That’s why, this May, CenturyLink is continuing to promote education and the technology that fuels learning by supporting several important initiatives in Colorado communities, including their Teachers and Technology program in Denver. CenturyLink helps a lot of Colorado communities and I’ve seen firsthand how they help bring technology to our youth and how that technology helps teach and grow little minds. Instead of relying on outdated text books, teachers and kids can get the latest and greatest information thanks to computers, tablets, and the internet. They can easily do research projects, gather information, and learn about whatever their heart desires.

CenturyLink is always helping the community. Their latest effort, the Teachers and Technology program, has helped some of our teachers and schools. During the month of May, CenturyLink will be announcing grants worth a total of more than $145,000 to 32 teachers across Colorado in support of enhancing the innovative use of technology in their classrooms. CenturyLink is providing a total of $1.4 million in Teachers & Technology grants for STEM programs nationwide! As a mom I am thankful CenturyLink is helping our communities get the tools and technology they need to be successful.
