Levana Oma+ Movement Monitor + Cutest Sleeping Baby Contest!

Sharing is caring!

I think it’s safe to safe that a common fear with parents is having their baby stop breathing in their sleep. I know it’s been a big fear with all 3 of my kids and as they get older the fear eases up, but it’s always there in the back of my mind and I always find myself checking my little one to make sure he’s still breathing. Our youngest is 4 months old and the hubby and I will often tell each other to do the “still alive check” if he’s in the other room sleeping. I wish I had something like the Levana Oma+ Movement monitor with my other kids because it would saved me a lot of worrying and loss of sleep.

The Levana Oma+ is a cordless, battery-powered movement monitor that clips to the diaper and can be used almost everywhere you and baby go. Oma+ clips directly onto the diaper and senses baby’s tiniest movements at the belly button area. The sensor will gently vibrate to help encourage the return of regular movement after 15 seconds of complete stillness and will beep loudly to alert you if no movement is detected for more than 20 seconds.

I had someone ask me how to tell if the monitor is not working. When you power it on and once it starts monitoring the little green light in the middle flashes to let you know that it’s still monitoring. When I was still playing around with it I had turned it on and didn’t know how to turn if off (btw, you hold down the 2 purple buttons on the sides to turn it off), so I set it on the couch. Several seconds later the alarm went off fairly loud, so that tells me that it’s monitoring correctly. The purple tip that sits on the belly is soft and very flexible so that it won’t hurt or irritate your little one and the monitor is very light weight. It’s portable for when you’re on the go and even come with a protective case and your little one can wear their regular clothes over it without it disturbing the monitor. Our little guy has been wearing it and I doubt he even notices that it’s on. If you’re worried about your little one then this monitor is a must have and great for keeping worried minds at ease.

Levana is currently running their Cutest Sleeping Baby Contest where if you submit a picture of your little one sleeping you will be entered to win an amazing Levana Prize Pack including an Ovia Video Baby Monitor and Oma+ Movement Monitor. CONTEST ENDS MARCH 28!
