Summer is almost here and with it comes afternoons at the pool and grilling summer dishes. Our pool officially opens this weekend and we’re so excited to start spending afternoons there with friends, but we’ve been having some crazy weather in Colorado the last few days and more expected this weekend. I’m a little bummed since I was looking forward to relaxing by the pool with the kids, cold drink in hand, and grilling up some Park’s Finest Frankfurters. Last weekend was absolutely gorgeous in Colorado so we broke out the bbq and started the grilling season a little early.

We headed to our local Safeway and picked up some much needed grilling items for easy dishes like Park’s Finest Frankfurters by Ball park, condiments, sides, and drinks. Safeway just happens to have a handy coupon for Park’s Finest Frankfurters where you can save $0.55 on any ONE (1) Park’s Finest Product (runs 5/26/14 – 6/1/14).

Hot Dogs just happen to be one of our favorite foods to grill and since hot dog season is starting, Memorial Day through Labor Day, grilling up Park’s Finest™ Frankfurters from Ball Park only makes sense. When grilling your hot dogs give your grill a little spray of vegetable oil so the hot dogs don’t stick and use tongs to turn them over so they stay nice and juicy. A juicy hot dog is the best and you don’t want to lose that juiciness by stabbing your delicious hot dog with a fork to turn it over.

The Park’s Finest Frankfurters from Ball Park are juicy and nicely seasoned. Our family is pretty basic when it comes to topping hot dogs and we’re happy with just ketchup, mustard, and relish, but having a DIY hot dog bar with lots of various toppings is a great way to make a cook out fun and the crowd will love the Park’s Finest Frankfurters from Ball Park. Did you know there is a proper way to dress your hot dog? Condiments should be applied in the following order: wet condiments like mustard and chili are applied first, followed by chunky condiments like relish, onions and sauerkraut, followed by shredded cheese, followed by spices, like celery salt or pepper.
