Spiralized Hot Dogs Tutorial!

Sharing is caring!

This post is brought to you by Ball Parks Finest Hot Dogs. All opinions are my own! #FinestGrillathon

I feel like it was just yesterday that summer was starting. This year seems to be flying by and now summer is almost over. The kids are back in school, the weather is starting to cool down a little, and I’m starting to see signs of the holidays approaching. Before the cold weather sets in we’re taking full advantage of what’s left of the warm weather and sunny days and grilling as much as possible. I love to change up what’s on our grill, but one thing that is always present is Ball Parks Finest Hot Dogs. Hot Dogs are the kids favorite and most requested item on days that we grill.

I found a new way to put a fun twist on a classic hot dog and it’s been such a huge hit with the kids and even the adults. Spiralized Hot Dogs, who knew that was a thing? But once you try it, eating a hot dog the regular way just isn’t the same. Spiraling allows the whole hot dog to get crisp and allows all the condiments to get into the whole hot dog. It’s like a flavor party in your mouth!

Hot To:
  1. Skewer your hot dog right up the middle
  2. Make individual cuts along the hot dog or roll the hot dog with the knife placed inside the meat.
  3. Once that’s done grill the hot dogs. Make sure to keep an eye on them, since they’re spiralized they’ll cook a little quicker.
  4. Rotate the hot dogs while cooking and cook until done.
  5. Dress it up however you please!

On August 13th, Ball Park brand, set the Guinness World Record for the Longest Team Barbecue Marathon after grilling for 34 hours and 35 minutes in New York City! Finest Grillathon winners, Andrew Battistelli and Susan Bulloch, along with Food Network chef Tyler Florence, grilled more than 3,000 Ball Park Park’s Finest Hot Dogs which were donated to City Harvest, a food rescue organization. Check out the recap video featuring highlights from the event and tell us how you would have kept going for 34 hours!
