TruMoo Orange Scream
Halloween is always such a fun time for the kids and we love celebrating – from decorating, making fun treats, costume shopping, picking out pumpkins, and of course trick-or-treating, there is always some fun to be had. As the kids are starting to get older they’re really into decorating for the holidays and since Halloween is the kick off to a season of decorations and lights it’s only fitting that we bust out the decorations and fill the house with some spooky fun. I have vivid memories of decorating for the holidays when I was a kid and I hope these are some memories my child will remember and even pass onto their own kids.

First up on our spooky list is a month full of spooky treats and snacks! From mummy dogs, to Halloween themed snacks and treats, freaky french toast, to fun milk like TruMoo’s Orange Scream milk. When I treat the kids to already made chocolate milk I always reach for TruMoo because it contains no high-fructose corn syrup (which is something I like to avoid with all of their drinks), no artificial growth hormones, and is made with low-fat white milk from your local dairy, so it’s fresh and tasty. TruMoo comes out with their Orange Scream milk, which is available through Halloween, which is an orange cream flavor and oh so yummy!

Next up is Spooky decorations like spider webs, Halloween signs, and a super cute mummy door. The mummy door was a big hit with the kids this year and really easy to make. You’ll need a black poster board, tape, big ogly eyes (got mine at Michael’s), and white crepe paper. I was able to get the poster board and crepe paper at the dollar store making this a very affordable decoration. Place the black poster board on the door, place the eyes, and then cover the door with crepe paper in strips to look like a mummy. secure the sides with tape.

Then towards the end of the month we like to head to the pumpkin patch where the kids can pick out their pumpkins. We like to head to a pumpkin patch that has lots of fun activities for the kids and make a day out of it and usually the next day they get elbow dead into carving their pumpkins!

And we end the month with Trick-Or-Treating and mouthfuls of delicious candy!
