Based on the popular Pocoyo CGI television series, the new Pocoyo SwiggleTraks feature set is the fun and engaging preschool toy that encourages kids to learn through laughter. The set includes pieces that can bend, twist and extend to suit any child’s imagination, and a motorized bridge that gives the set a dynamic “swiggle” action.
When I was given the opportunity to review the Pocoyo SwiggleTraks I had a feeling it would be a hit with my daughter.
When the box arrived she ran over and immediately wanted to open it, so of course we did. Once she saw what was inside she immediately wanted to play with it. So like the good mommy I am I stopped what I was doing and sat down to play with the Pocoyo SwiggleTrak.
Since she is still too little to get the tracks together I had to set it up for her. Snapping the tracks together was very easy and I was done in about 5 minutes. She even had fun handing me the next track to snap into place. Then the fun began! As you can see in the pictures I just went with the same track design that was on the box, but you can customize the track however you want.
The bridge makes the tracks “swiggle” back and forth which my daughter got a kick out of. She also had fun watching Pocoyo push the ball around the track.
Pocoyo drives around the track while playing the theme song to the Pocoyo show.
Once my daughter got bored of watching him drive in circles she took him off the track and let him ride around the house while chasing after him.
All in All my daughter loved the Pocoyo SwiggleTrak and it’s one of her new favorite toys. The theme song can get annoying after awhile, but there is no off button for the music so you just have to deal with it. Assembly and Dis-assembly was easy.
If you have small children I would suggest watching them while playing with the track since the tracks could pose a choking hazard. I keep the Pocoyo Trak stored in the box away from my daughter when we aren’t playing with it since she is still at the age where everything goes in her mouth. I did leave her to play with the track alone while making dinner and she was able to take it all apart…
The Pocoyo SwiggleTrak can be purchased at Toys R Us, Select Walmarts, and on Amazon for $24.99.
It has been rated Best Toy of the Year 2011 by Parents Magazine and The Toy Insiders “Hot 20” toys for 2011 Holidays!
This toy is great for 18+ Toddlers and Preschoolers and I love that it encourages kids to use their imagination when building the track.
