Coca Cola Holiday

The air is getting chilly and the days are getting shorter. That can only mean 1 thing – the holidays are here! The holidays are my favorite time of year and as we’re gathering more friends around our new home I plan on having more parties to celebrate with them. However, the holidays and hosting a get together can be stressful. As a mom of 3 rambunctious little ones I have enough stress in my day to day life and I don’t need to add more. Since hosting a holiday party can be a little stressful, I am finding ways to eliminate the stress and ways to make our party a happy & fun experience.

Sam's Club Curb Pickup

Step 1: I am shopping online and picking up my supplies. This is something I started doing a few months ago and is now a must for me. Have you tried shopping with 3 kids and trying to remember everything on your list? It’s chaos y’all. Sam’s Club is making shopping easy with their Club Pickup option. All you need to do is have a Sam’s Club membership and either go to samsclub.com or download the app and get to shopping. When you place your order they do all the work and heavy lifting, like picking up a case of Coca-Cola® for you. You show up once your order is ready and pick it up. Simple and easy!

Step 2: I am keeping things simple, effortless, and casual when it comes to food and drinks. You don’t need a fancy sit down dinner to spend the holidays with those you love. Instead, have items that are easy, but delicious, like a charcuterie board. Charcuterie boards only require a few staple items like meat, cheese, and bread or crackers. Arrange everything on a platter and call it good to go. You could even pick up a fruit platter and dessert platter. As for drinks, it’s just not the holidays without an ice-cold Coca-Cola®. I like to have a variety of drinks for my guests, so I’ll grab some Sprite®, Coca-Cola®, Diet Coke®, Gold Peak® Sweet Tea and Dasani® water. Tip: Make sure everything is chilled!

Step 3: Keep decor simple. Toss on some holiday tunes, hang up a few strings of lights, throw down a nice tablecloth, and burn a holiday candle. Add a few finishing touches like fresh flowers that represent the holiday you’re celebrating and fill vases with holiday-themed candy or decor items.

Step 4: Keep the guest list simple. Guest lists can be overwhelming and it can be hard picking those you’re going to invite. Invite those that are nearest and dearest to you. For those that don’t make the list, plan a lunch date with them or attend their holiday gathering (if they have one).

Step 5: Have a White Elephant gift exchange. Don’t feel like you have to get everyone attending your party a gift. Instead host a White Elephant gift exchange. This way everyone brings a gift, which lessens the burden on you, and everyone leaves with a gift. Hint: A Coca-Cola® Mini 30pk makes a great White Elephant gift!
