My brother was telling me on the phone the other day that he knows they’ve got hughesnet in my area which is a big relief. I love living out here but sometimes the country life is a little TOO country for me and I really miss being able to email and Facebook and things from the comfort of my own home. My husband thinks we should just use the free internet at the library but I keep trying to tell him I use more gas driving back and forth than I would if I would just connect at home – it’s not all that expensive anyway. He thinks it’s amazing living out here in the country and though I don’t hate it there are definitely days when I wonder what the heck I’m doing with my life. Sometimes I long for the sounds of the big city but there are other times when I hear crickets or look up at the stars and realize it’s actually not so bad here after all.
