I don’t know who loves Lalaloopsy dolls more, my daughter or me. Ok, I think I do. They are just so darn cute… The big heads, big button eyes, colorful hair, and fabulous outfits are just so cute!! I wish they were around when I was little, but since they weren’t I can steal play with my daughters dolls.

We were sent the Lalaloopsy Sew Magical Mermaid Doll for review and right away I wanted to take a bubble bath and play her (don’t judge me…), but instead I let my daughter have a bubble bath and play with her, which she had a blast doing.

Lalaloopsy Coral Sea Shells was once a rag doll who magically came to life when her very last stitch was sewn. Coral Sea Shells was made from pieces of  a swimmers bathing suit. She’s super- imaginative and she loves to pretend she’s a real mermaid. Her favorite hobbies are swimming with the fish and eating seaweed salad. She even has a pet blowfish.

My daughter was very excited to play with Coral Sea Shells when she arrived. She isn’t big on dolls yet, but she took a liking to Coral Sea Shells so I was happy.

The outfits are a little hard to change and my daughter is unable to do this on her own since the arms don’t bend. If the arms bent then I think outfit changes would be easier. I love that her hair changes colors like it’s suppose to. I put her under cold water and her hair turned purple right away and when I put her under warm water her hair went right back to pink.

She is a great addition to bath time and I love that we have a new bath toy that can be played with in the bath or outside of the bath. When you are done playing with her in the bath make sure to ring out her clothes and lay them flat to dry. I did this and her clothes dried quickly and didn’t develop any foul smells. (You know the one I’m talking about. That moldy smell toys can get when you don’t dry them properly.)

I love the cute outfits and bright colors of the doll. The lalaloopsy dolls are a nice twist to an old tradition of rag dolls. Coral Sea Shells is made out of quality products and I know with proper care and play she will last a long time in our house.
