Little Tikes DiscoverSounds Activity Garden – Review

Sharing is caring!

The Little Tikes DiscoverSounds Activity Garden is the perfect addition to any baby or toddler playroom.

This baby activity gym incorporates a variety of baby toys and activities to develop motor skills and cognitive ability. Infants will love the stimulating colors, shapes and textures. Can be configured in different ways to keep play exciting. Includes a removable panel for take along fun!

I was sent the DiscoverSounds Activity Garden for review and I wish I had this when my daughter was a baby because it’s such a nice toy. It’s convertible and grows with your child, which I LOVE in a toy.

There are so many features to keep your little one entertained that I don’t think they would ever get tired of it.

Features include:

  • Easily converts from a closed play center to an open, two-sided playcenter with out tools
  • Helps infants develop fine motor skills
  •  Crawl through archway
  •  Mailbox shape sorter
  •  Movable telescope
  •  Working door with a Tap-a-Tune piano that sits on top
  •  Shutters that open and close
  •  Ball drop
  •  Two sided take along play panel

            One side has fun activities:
* Learning clock
* Mirror for babies to look at themselves
* Movable, clicking, colorful bugs
* Spinning ball toy
* Clicking picture that infants can change from a flower to lady bug
One side has a three language phone
* Learn numbers in English, Spanish or French with the press of a button
* Two setting volume control with an off position
* Infants will be introduced to numbers and counting
* Animal sound effects and silly sounds

  • Easy to assemble

The DiscoverSounds Activity Garden was VERY easy to put together. There are a lot of pieces but they all go together quickly and easily and there weren’t many small pieces from the packaging, but I would still be careful because little ones do love to put stuff in their mouth and you never know if they will choke.

My daughter LOVES this toy. She has lots of fun with the ball toys, mail box shape sorter, along with using the telescope. She does have a little difficulty using the slide so instead of sliding she crawls through it like a tunnel.

I love the bright colors and that there are so many activities to keep a little one occupied. Like I said above, I wish I had this toy when she was a baby. It’s a great way to keep your little one entertained while developing their fine motor skills and cognitive play. It was easy to convert from a closed play center to an open play center. If you have a baby I would recommend the closed center and if you have a walker/toddler then I would do the open play center.

All in All I was very pleased with the DiscoverSounds Activity Garden. It keeps my daughter occupied, it’s a good quality toy that grows with your child, and it helps with development. I look forward to also using this when we decide to have another child.

The recommended age is 6-36 months for this toy and I think that’s a perfect age group for it.
