Family Night w/ the Avengers Movie & Marketside Pizza #MarvelAvengersWMT

I know you have all heard me talk about family night before. It’s a great thing to do once a week because it gives the family time to catch up, relax, and spend quality time together. This week for family night we picked up the new Avengers Blu-Ray/DVD/Graphic Novel Combo Pack and some Market side pizza from Walmart. We saw the Avengers on Imax when it was on theaters and LOVED the movie. I knew that when it came out on DVD that we would have to buy it and add it to our collection. My husband grew up reading comic books and is a big Avengers fan and I’ve never read the comics, but I do enjoy the movies…

While we were at Walmart I decided to test out the Avengers App to see which Avenger I was. There are trigger points throughout Walmart and when you scan them, they reveal 3 questions. There are 9 questions total and at the end it tells you which Avenger you are. It was a fun addition quiz to take and made our shopping trip a little more fun.

This is what one of the triggers looks like. I found this one next to the display with the Avengers DVD’s. There are triggers located in the electronics, toys, Halloween, and apparel departments, and near the Marketside pizzas. The Super Hero AR app is available on iTunes and android.

Once we were done with the game we picked up our DVD and Pizza, along with a few other supplies to make family night fun!

Then it was time to head home and prepare for family night by making pizza and popcorn. While we waited for the pizza to cook we read our new Marvel Avengers Graphic Novel. My toddler loved the book and kept wanting to read it.

Once the pizza was ready we enjoyed our Marketside pizza and then watched The Avengers Blu-Ray DVD and ate some yummy popcorn out of Avengers cups! It was a great family night with the Avengers…

To celebrate the release of The Avengers DVD select Walmart locations will be having The Avengers Appearances on Saturday Sept 29, 2012. To see if a Walmart in your area is participating, call your local store ahead of time.
