I had never heard of Soundfreaq before receiving my Sound Kick speaker, but when it arrived I became very excited. I recently got an iPad and one of the things I love to do with it is listen to music. The sound of the iPad doesn’t get very loud, so I’ve been looking into getting a speaker device for it.
The Soundfreaq Sound Kick is easy to set up and use. All I needed to do was enable Bluetooth on my iPad and hit the pair button on the speaker and it synced within a few seconds. The first time I used it, I used it with the AUX cable instead of using the Bluetooth feature. While using it I kept thinking the speaker needed a remote and then I found that there is a free app you can download called “soundfreaq remote” that allows you to change songs, change the volume, mute the stop, or stop it all together.
The Sound Kick is a great speaker for smart devices and it can be used with android and apple phones/tablets and any device that is A2DP-compatible. You can also use it with any device that has a tandard 3.5mm headphone jack and it comes with the AUX cable. The battery lasts around 7 hours, but I have yet to drain it and if you don’t want to use it wirelessly then you can have it plugged into an outlet. There is a USB port so you can charge your another device on it, which comes in handy since I tend to run out of outlet space with all of the chargers I have. The Sound Kick doesn’t take up too much space and it’s portable. It fits perfectly on my counter and the sound is great. The sound is loud, clear, and I’ve experienced no issues with it. Not only can I use it to play music, but I can use it for audio when watching movies, TV, playing games, or apps. It’s exactly what I was looking for in a speaker and I am thrilled with it.
