Zoom Zoom Zooming with the 2014 Mazda6 i Grand Touring!

Sharing is caring!

I was provided with a 2014 Mazda6 for review purposes. All opinions are my own!

Last year I was given the opportunity to test out the Mazda3 and I fell in love with it so when it’s big brother the Mazda6 arrived at my door I was eager to test it out. Since I loved the Mazda3 so much I had a strong feeling I would fall in love the with Mazda6 and boy was I right! The Mazda6 is like a bigger version of the 3. It has a sleek design that is sure to turn heads and it’s available in a variety of gorgeous colors and trims.

As a mom I’m all about how much space a car has and the features that will make my life in the car easier and the Mazda6 doesn’t disappoint. It has a very spacious trunk that is sure to fit any stroller along with groceries and whatever else you may need. The Mazda6 seats 5 and the inside of the car is roomy. I had no issues fitting a big car seat in the back and I’m confident in saying I could squeeze 3 back there if needed.

The technology features are great and I’m loving all the controls on the steering wheel so I don’t have to take my hand off the wheel. Things such as rain sensing windshield wipers, remote keyless entry and start, backup camera, and tomtom navigation system are all ways to make me swoon and had me in love. But let’s not forget the Bose 11 speaker system. I fell in love with the bose system in the 3 and the 6 was no different. I love a good sound system for rare times that I can get out without the kids and can crank up the radio. It’s loud, it’s clear, and it’s bumpin’!

Another thing I love is some good gas mileage. As a stay at home mom I have lots of exciting trips to the store, taking the toddler to school, and many trips to the park. All that running around adds up and I was pleasantly surprised with the gas mileage the Mazda6 received (26/38 mpg) and I didn’t dread running all those errands in this beautiful sporty car.

As a growing family this midsize car has everything I need and it’s something I would definitely consider when buying a new car. The Mazda6 starts at just $20,990 with prices varying on model and addons.
