When I stumbled upon this recipe I knew I had to give it a test and I was so happy I did. This recipe is absolutely delicious and exactly how I like my broccoli beef. I would even call it a P.F. Chang Broccoli Beef copy cat recipe because it tastes very similar to their version.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I don&rsquo;t think I&rsquo;ll ever order takeout Beef with Broccoli again. This recipe was very easy and quick to make. Try it, Trust me. Your family will be begging for more.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">(I used regular soy sauce since it&rsquo;s what I had on hand and left out the sherry since I didn&rsquo;t have any. I would stick with low sodium soy sauce since it was too salty with regular. Serve over white or brown rice. Serves 4. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Prep Time: 10 minutes + 1 hour for marinade Cook Time: 8 minutes<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">First, marinate the meat:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<li>1\/2 tsp baking soda<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp cornstarch<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp water<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 lbs flank steak, sliced into thin strips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">1. Whisk together the baking soda, sugar, cornstarch, soy sauce, water, and vegetable oil in a large bowl. Toss the steak with the marinade to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour, then proceed below.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<li>1\/2 c low-sodium soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>4 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp flour<\/li>\n<li>1 tbsp sherry<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>2 heads broccoli, crowns only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">1. In a small bowl, stir together the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, flour and sherry until smooth. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">2. In a large wok or saute pan, heat 2 tablespoons of the vegetable oil over high heat until shimmering. Add broccoli and saute 3 minutes, stirring often. Transfer broccoli to a plate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">3. Carefully add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the hot pan. Add the marinated meat and half of the sauce mixture and saute for 3-4 minutes, stirring often, until the meat is cooked through and no longer pink. Stir in the broccoli and remaining sauce.
