Dreaming of a #MomCave from La-Z-Boy

Sharing is caring!

You always hear about men having a man cave, but what about the woman? Where is our #momcave?? This got me thinking and I started dreaming of my very own mom cave. Unfortunately we don’t have an extra room in our home, but if we did I would deck it out in everything I like and there would be a huge DO NOT ENTER sign on the door. It would be a place that is relaxing, quiet, and always clean. Ahhh, If only in a perfect world…

#momcave makeover room

Since we don’t have an extra room for a mom cave, I would love to makeover our living room. I spend 90% of my day in it and would love it to be more inviting, bright, and relaxing. I would exile all toys from it and add new furniture and decor. I started browsing the La-Z-Boy online catalog and got some of my inspiration for it. I mean what better place to go shop at? They’ve been in business for 85 years and they still hold the same principles and values instilled by their founders. The rooms they put together are so gorgeous and I bet they don’t have kids that would tear it apart in 5 minutes. Story. Of. My. Life!!

La-Z-Boy #MomCave InspirationTotally my style & So pretty!

I got excited about dreaming of my new mom cave makeover that after browsing the online catalog I headed to my nearest La-Z-Boy store to look around. I was a little disappointed since the store was under construction and things were everywhere, but I found some furniture I fell in love with.

La-Z-Boy Sofa

Totally digging this giant La-Z-Boy Sectional Sofa! It was so comfortable and the perfect spot for me to sit while blogging. I would add a bunch of throw pillows to add some color.

La-Z-Boy Chair

I fell in LOVE with this Karli Armless chair when I walked in the store. it just popped out to me. The colors & pattern are so pretty. I would put this in the corner where all the toys are and I would use this pattern and colors from this pattern for the sofa pillows.

La-Z-Boy #momcave furniture

Last but not least I would get rid of that awful TV Stand and update it with something more modern, like the one on the left and I would add a coffee table. I really liked this circle one, if only it came in the same color as the TV stand.

La-Z-Boy had so many nice pieces that I went home telling my husband I wanted a mom cave makeover. All of their pieces were so pretty, comfortable, and customizable and when I think of La-Z-Boy I think comfort, style and quality. They have a huge selection of more than 900 covers (in fabric and leather) to use with their more than 250 different frames, that it became a little overwhelming looking at them all.

A girl can dream about a mom cave, right? Somewhere that is quiet and pretty. What room in your house would you turn into a mom cave? What things would you change??

I would have a chair to read in, candles, music, a window with a tree outside and a bird feeder so I could birdwatch and a table for crafts and sewing. A girl can dream.
