I started Christmas shopping a few weeks ago, I like to get it done early and out of the way. There are so many fun new toys this year and my kids have a few of them on their wishlists. Every year the kids make lists of the items they want and then we pick a few things to get them. It’s so much fun watching them go through the Toys”R”Us Big Book and circling all the new things they want. I just wish they would remember to add batteries to their lists because every year I forget to grab them or I don’t grab enough, but this year I am making sure to stock up on Duracell batteries during my shopping so we have them on hand for all their new goodies.

Funny Story

I do a lot of online shopping with my favorite retailers like Toys”R”Us. UPS loves to drop my packages off and run. By time I get to the door he’s usually in his truck and down the street. The other day I got a package and had no idea what it was. I went out to grab the box when I heard some strange animal sounds. Since we have bushes in front of our porch I thought maybe something was hiding in them since we have a lot of wild life where we live. I got a little freaked out, fully expecting something to jump out of the bushes. I grabbed the box and ran in the house when I realized I was still hearing the noises. I opened the box and realized it was Hasbro FurReal Friends Bootsie. What I thought was weird animals sounds turned out to be the cute littler purr that it does. I felt like such a ditz standing in my hallway.

FurReal Friends are on my daughters wishlist this year and she’s begging for an interactive pet. She really wants FurReal Friends Bootsie and i know our son will love Torch, My Blazin’ Dragon.

FurReal Friends Torch, My Blazin’ Dragon is pretty awesome looking and responds to touch with 50+ sound and motion combinations. You can interact with him by feeding him his color changing treat. When you fill Torch with water he breaths a flame colored mist which is really fun for kids. You can also touch his nose for fun responses. Torch does require 4 “C” batteries which you can easily pick up from Toys”R”Us when you stop in to buy him. Torch, My Blazin’ Dragon is also on sale through 11/12/16 for $59.99 (regular MSRP is $79.99).

Next up on our wish list is FurReal Friends Bootsie. Bootsie is a cuddly and cute cat that comes to life just like Torch does. When you wave at Bootsie or tap her mouth with her treat she makes fun expressions. Bootsie is filled full of personality, like most cats, and when you pet her forehead you’ll quickly learn which mood she’s in. Bootsie sometimes gets cranky, but give her a cuddle and feed her a treat to make her happy again. Bootsie requires  “AA” batteries.
