There is one thing that is for certain and it’s that I need caffeine to be a functioning human in the morning. With the kids going back to school quickly approaching I getting ready for early mornings, chaos, and needing my caffeine fix. When I recently learned about a new (to me) brand of coffee, that is Colorado made, and a great source of morning fuel called Boyer’s Coffee I knew that I had to try it. Their flavors are packed full of flavor and come in a variety of flavors to meet everyone’s coffee needs. 

I was sent their Kona Blend, Rocky Mountain Thunder Blend, and DenverBlend to try out. While all of them were delicious I really enjoyed the Kona Blend which had an exotic, but sweet and smooth taste. It had me thinking of mornings by the beach and wishing I on a balcony overlooking the ocean with a cup of coffee. Everything was really high quality and I’m excited to send some to my family back in California so they can have a taste of Colorado in their mornings. 

They’ve been in the coffee making business for over 50 years and were recently named the coffee partner of the Colorado Rockies which means they’ll be the exclusive coffee brand at Coors Field. This is the partnership for both brands since they’re both Colorado Proud and Colorado made. Boyer’s Coffee uses only the best 100 percent Arabica coffee beans from around the world. The secret to such great coffee? Well it’s just that, a secret. They’re looking for a particular mix of ripeness, acidity, greenness and potential flavor for their coffee beans and they won’t give up the secrets on what those are, but it’s something that gives their blends delicious flavor.

When Bill Boyer founded the coffee company in 1965, he discovered a secret. With less humidity and a slower roast, Colorado’s high altitude creates a roasted coffee bean with a flavor second to none – smooth, fresh, and extraordinary.

Love baseball? Especially the Colorado Rockies? Boyer’s Coffee and the Colorado Rockies have teamed up to give one grand prize winner the opportunity to toss the first pitch at the Sept. 1 Colorado Rockies game, along with receiving four club-level tickets to the game.
