Trolls Popcorn + Trolls Holiday Movie!

Sharing is caring!

Tonight is the night y’all. I’m sure a lot of you are like what is she talking about, but if you have a Trolls obsessed little one then you probably know what tonight it. It’s the premiere of Trolls Holiday. Our 2 year old is OBSESSED with trolls. She has clothing, bedding, toys, more clothing, and we’ve watched Trolls almost every day since it came out (sometimes even twice). She was Poppy for Halloween and had a Trolls birthday. Is there a word for more than obsessed? Because she’s whatever that is.

Our other kids like Trolls too, but just not obsessed with it. When I heard that Trolls was coming out with a Holiday movie a few weeks ago I added it to my calendar and have been family a fun movie night ever since. So it’s only fitting that we have a Trolls snack to go with our movie night. I wanted to do something fun for the kids and since they love popcorn I knew a Trolls inspired popcorn was the way to go.

This recipe is so easy to make and took me only about 10 minutes. You’ll need popcorn (I used kettle corn, but any works), blue and pink candy melts, blue and pink chocolate candies, and silver sprinkles. Pop your popcorn according to the directions and then spread it out on a big baking sheet and let it cool for a few minutes. While the popcorn is cooling, melt the candy melts. I did one at a time and about 1/4 of the bag. Melt for 30 seconds, stir, and then to 10 second increments until fully melted. Once melted place into a Ziploc bag and cut the tip off. Drizzle over the popcorn. Repeat with second color. Then place chocolate candies on popcorn while chocolate is still warm and sprinkle silver sugar sprinkles. Let cool and then gently break up the popcorn and enjoy!

We’ll also be ordering the Trolls Holiday DVD because I know I’ll be watching a lot of this movie in the coming weeks…
